Project History

Every game has a story, and so does "Writing my Chronicle". 🌟 This journey began as a dream—a dream to create a game that not only pays homage to the classics I grew up with but also offers a unique and fresh take on pixel art storytelling.

As a pixel artist with years of experience creating tilesets for games inspired by Zelda and Pokémon, I wanted to push the boundaries of my craft. This project is not just about creating a game; it’s about building a world where players can lose themselves in the art, the mechanics, and the magic of discovery. From brainstorming ideas to designing the HUD, every step has been a labor of love and dedication.

🏡 Dynamic Town Life: Interact with a diverse cast of characters, each with their own personality and story. Form friendships, build trust, and even pursue romantic relationships.

📖 Write Your Own Story: Create your own path in a world designed to adapt to your choices. Your actions and relationships shape your in-game narrative.

🕰️ Alternate Historical Setting: Immerse yourself in a carefully crafted uchronia inspired by 1850–1900, blending historical elements with creative liberties for a one-of-a-kind experience.

🎲 Tabletop Role-Playing Connection: The game world is also designed as a tabletop RPG setting, allowing players to narrate and experience it as a role-playing game beyond the screen.

Goals

This is just the beginning. Here’s what lies ahead for "Writing my Chronicle":

🛠️ Prototype Completion: A polished prototype showcasing the core mechanics by Octover 2025. 

 🎮 Playable Demo: A demo available for supporters and early testers by July 2026. 🌟 Beta Release: Feedback-driven beta testing phase by the end of 2026.

 🚀 Full Release: A complete version of "Writing my Chronicle" ready to launch in 2026-2027.
